Senior Manager of Performance Analytics - Mobile

Our Fortune 100 Telecommunications Client is seeking a Senior Manager of Performance Analytics to join their Mobile Business Segment. The Senior Manager is responsible for reporting and analysis of customer and product growth for the Mobile business segment, including: performance measurement by bundle and Sales Channel; performance measurement for major campaigns and initiatives; KPI tracking (e.g., penetration rates, churn/survival rates, tier mix and sell-in, average revenue per customer), monitoring customer and product growth in competitor overlap areas. The Sr. Manager will leverage our client's Tableau and MicroStrategy-based BI environment and best-in-class data mining and data visualization tools to assess performance across all geographies and segments within our client's diverse operating footprint.


. Responsible for reporting and analysis of customer and product performance metrics for Mobile
. Measures performance of Sales Channels, including the tracking of KPIs related to channel effectiveness and quality (e.g., productivity/close rates, churn/survival rates, tier mix and sell-in, average revenue per customer)
. Assists with development of intra-month projections for Mobile customers and net gains
. Understands Non Pay behavior of Mobile customers
. Builds and maintains reporting and analysis capabilities to monitor customer and product growth performance, by business segment, market, and competitive areas
. Tracks performance by lines of business to understand the synergies and intersection of the mobile and cable subscribers
. Supports all data needs of the forecasting and pricing team related to Mobile
. Measures and tracks performance of large, multi-channel marketing campaigns, such as back-to-school, holiday campaigns, etc., uses sophisticated analytic approaches and techniques to estimate sales yield

Required Skills:

. 8+ years of business experience working within a Marketing, Sales, Business Intelligence or Strategic Planning function of a large organization with an established reputation for measuring business performance (e.g., telecom, mobile, media, financial services, publishing, retail, consulting, etc.)
. Fluent in SQL with experience writing queries in a production environment
. Proficient in mining big volumes of data with ease
. Comfortable with modern Excel techniques including Power Pivot, Power Query and DAX
. Proficiency with Tableau preferred
. MicroStrategy reporting experience highly valued
. Proficiency in Alteryx preferred
. Familiarity with statistical tools (SAS, R, SPSS) and techniques preferred
. Hands-on experience developing and distributing reporting of business performance on a regular cycle
. Prior knowledge of Mobile analytics preferred
. Knowledge of marketing and sales channel principles, techniques, and processes
. Aptitude for analysis of business trends and performance measurement
. Strong communication skills, including experience presenting complex data and intelligence in a concise and easy to understand fashion
. Bachelor degree from accredited four year college with major in Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics or Economics. (Masters Preferred)
