Senior Agile Product Manager - Digital Demand / OpenText

Our client, one of the World's most recognized Consumer Products companies, is looking to engage a Senior Agile Product Manager to drive the delivery of their OpenText-based Content Management platform. In this Senior Product Manager role, you will be supporting Digital Demand within the Digital Center of Excellence, which owns one or more Digital Product strategy(s) for the worldwide organization. With an initial focus on Digital Asset Management, the Digital Product strategy(s) will deliver and enable world class platforms, processes and ways of working related to Marketing and eCommerce capabilities across all segments, in support of driving growth in ecommerce and marketing. You will be expected to continuously deliver value by defining and delivering the ideal way for Products to achieve business owner objectives; defining requirements, as needed with user stories, wireframes, creative design, acceptance criteria, and tech specs; structuring and prioritizing a backlog of epics, themes, stories, and integrations from roadmap to sprint planning; supporting the delivery teams and business owners in deployment and adoption; continuously improving product metrics; using Scrum or other agile best practices, ceremonies, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
Define the product strategy and roadmap to support the objectives of business segments, markets, and brands.
Responsible for the DAM strategy, corporate-wide and across all segments.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery, speed, and quality
Define requirements in the necessary formats and details to allow development, testing, demonstration, acceptance, deployment, support, usage, and adoption
Define requirements in the necessary formats and details to allow integration with 3rd party systems, e.g. data sources (e.g., SAP ATLAS/GRD, LTD, NUBA, BLUE) and retailer product data pools (e.g., Salsify, Equadis, Alkemics, Brandbank)
Publish release notes
Approve and accept development and deployment of features
Identify solutions and manage vendors, as necessary, to achieve objectives
Provide authoritative, inspired, and well-informed DAM subject matter expertise, and participate in industry forums (e.g. GS1, eGDSN, SAP Hybris community, Client PIM community, DAM community)
Provide product governance through typical, and as needed special, ceremonies and artifacts
Manage product budgets

Able to project the trajectory of various tracks, to predict if the product release is on track
Must have an eye for detail, but be able to 'see the forest for the trees'
Masterful in holding your ground as needed to make sure the team can continue to make progress
Comfortable facilitating a technical discussion with Architects, Developers and others
Able to influence decisions, resources, and work happening outside of Digital
Able to identify risks and issues before they manifest
Ability to execute & coordinate across multiple frameworks (Agile Scrum, Kanban, and Iterative Waterfall)
Ability to translate and clearly communicate status
Ability to create synergies within and outside the team, thinking big picture, beyond the immediate
Be precise in execution
Ability to manage expectations across multiple teams
Not be a pure 'task-master'
Ability to act and add value through partnership with the wider team

Position Requirements:
. At least 3+ years of current experience working with OpenText, including managing internal and external OpenText development teams
. 10+ years in digital Product Management roles
. 5+ years of current DAM experience
. 10+ years working in Agile delivery methodology
. 3+ years UX and UI experience
. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering / Marketing is required
. Must be open to occasional travel (both within the US and International)
