Department:Corporate Programs & Planning Location: Alpharetta GA Job Title Reporting To: EVP, Corporate Programs & Planning The primary responsibility of this individual will be to lead significant strategic cross-functional projects to serve PGi's business globally. The Sr. Strategic Program Manager will facilitate the identification and design of necessary projects and lead their cross-functional execution - to drive delivery to CEO/ Executive identified strategic priorities. II.Duties, Responsibilities, and Physical and Mental Demands: Describe 5 to 10 primary activities (not all activities) that are regularly performed and the approximate percentage of time devoted to each. Project Management: Plan and drive strategic process and project delivery across all functions Tactically manage key projects - global or regional. This may include, for example, new Go To Market strategies, organizational transformations, new systems, processes and procedural roll-outs. Assist as project manager to implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives across the business. Actively identify project risks and work to prioritize and mitigate. Guide all PGi functions with regard to project requirements and propose alternative solutions, leveraging technology and processes Administration: Manage all aspects of the projects – to include quality, budgets, project scope, and provide reporting to all levels, including Exec & Board Levels Research: Identify best practices and benchmark against key competitors or industry standards Drive cross functional implementation of best practices Communication: Communicate project status to the Executive Team, identify risks and escalate in a timely manner Participate in company-wide communication on strategic initiatives as needed – liaising with PGI's Internal Communications team Skills and Competencies Senior Self-starter. Proven ability to work proactively and independently and with little direction. Background in Sales & Marketing related strategic programs preferred Solid proactive communication skills (written and verbal). Able to speak effectively, to listen to others and to synthesize presentations to the target audience. Proven excellent organizational and decision-making, problem solving and negotiation skills – can facilitate drive to consensus Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet critical deadlines Ability to succinctly define problems and create solutions effectively and efficiently Ability to produce high quality and timely deliverables within time constraints – strong attention to detail Strong data collection and analysis skills (understand the data, organize it, and draw logical conclusions) – ability to use hard data and metrics to guide decision making & develop business cases Demonstrated curiosity, judgement, drive and desire to ask 'why' to unravel complex problems and get to root cause Ability to properly handle and maintain confidential issues, information, and concerns Dynamic and able to take initiative Great teamwork spirit that is in support of PGI values.
