ServiceNow Architect, Implementation Specialist

The ServiceNow Architect, Implementation Specialist configures ServiceNow modules based on customer requirements and drives them into a production environment.

  1. 40%: Lead all technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery including: Application, Workflow and UI Configuration. Develops required client specific reporting.
  2. 30%: Develops required integration components.
  3. 10%: Interfaces with ServiceNow development and operations teams and successfully implements the SaaS platform.
  4. 15%: Be a key member of the overall implementation project team. Prepares all client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related.
  5. 5%: Mentors field resources in implementation methodology, configuration, and best practices for the ITSM application suite
Bachelor's Degree

Course of Study/Major: Information systems or equivalent experience

Type of Credentials/Licenses: Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist required. ITIL Foundations required, ITIL Expert desired.

Related Work Experience: 10+ Years

The work experience / skills / abilities required to perform the job effectively.
• Proven ServiceNow implementation experience leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions in client environments.
• Minimum 3 years of implementing ServiceNow ITSM implementations
• Knowledge of ITIL, minimum foundation level, ideally higher.
• Active listener, respecting others' point of view and takes ownership of contributing the required input while demonstrating strong communication skills (written, interpersonal and presentational)
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership in solving business processes and/or technical problems during project delivery
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.
• Excellent client-facing and internal verbal and written communication skills
• Experience successfully managing communications between technical teams and technology consumers.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Minimum 3 years of implementing ServiceNow ITSM implementations desired
• ServiceNow CSM or SecOps experience a plus
• Prior federal contract experience a plus

This position is an individual contributor and has no supervisory responsibilities. Provides functional expertise through day-to-day work tasks. Works under the supervision of management.
