The Manager, IT Enterprise Services manages the Data Center operations for the CMS client. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services is responsible for the development and implementation of Data Center business plans, policies, and procedures. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services oversees the work of Data Center Architects and Engineers in design and maintenance of Data Center. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services collaborates with IT and other departments to prioritize Data Center needs and evaluates results within the business unit to determine if organizational objectives are being met. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services analyzes and resolves Data Center issues and needs including escalated security issues, ensuring adequate power supply and business continuity measures as related to the data center. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services manages the activities of f supervisors and/or individual contributors. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services is responsible for hiring, firing, performance management and salary reviews. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services has broad knowledge of the field with proven management skills. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of information security, including access management, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, infrastructure, and regulatory compliance.
The Manager, IT Enterprise Services evaluates and implements technical changes within the operation by overseeing all modifications to IT infrastructure involving hardware, software, and system applications. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services ensures that procedures and methodologies are consistent and that impact to business operations are kept minimal. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services reports and provides change management strategies to senior management.
In addition, the Manager, IT Enterprise Services manages the network control services for the CMS organization. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services oversees the testing, monitoring, and maintenance of the network and system infrastructure in a 24x7x365 environment. The Manager, IT Enterprise Services coordinates and manages all activities associated with maintaining and improving the availability, stability, and reliability of internal and external networks and system infrastructure.   
  1. 50%: Manages IT Infrastructure professionals consisting of Network Operations Center, Change/Problem/Configuration, Data Center, and IT Security, through tasking, training, performance management and performance improvement plans, as needed. Establishes goals and ensures IT services are fully operational in support of the CMS customer.
  2. 20%: Develops and maintains the strategic IT plan to address the future needs and plans for enterprise architecture, platforms, technologies, and tools required to sustain a high level of application performance
  3. 20%: Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions
  4. 10%: Cultivates innovation allowing for new and better ways for the company to be successfull    
Bachelor's Degree  

Type of Credentials/Licenses: ITIL        
Related Work Experience: 6-8 Years 
The work experience / skills / abilities required to perform the job effectively.
•      Experience with managing large teams of IT Infrastructure professionals
•      Experience interfacing with all levels of management and customer (CMS)
•      Worked in US government Data Center environments
•      Strong knowledge of IT technologies and applications
•      Experience with Network Operations Center, Problem/Change/Configuration Management concepts and tools, Data Center Operations, and Identity Management
•      Experience with tiered architectures – e.g. presentation, application, data
•      Knowledge of  ITSM/ITIL management concept
•      Knowledge of CA-IDM product and Monitoring & Management tools (i.e.: SteelCentral, Edge Technologies).
•      Knowledge of networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies)

This position reports to Director, IT Operations & Maintenance. This position is responsible for establishing work unit goals and the execution of departmental plans.
