As a Project Manager you will:
Proactively manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects from beginning to end, including client interaction and expectations 
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plans 
Serve as Project Manager via management of end-to-end system development life cycle of both major and minor projects while supervising intermediate to senior level staff 
Provide project leadership and direction to project resources in accordance with Sparkhound policies and procedures 
Develop full-scale project plans and project documentation 
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support client contracts 
Effectively communicate project expectations to project resources and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion 
Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools 
Provide leadership, guidance and resolution in responding to project related issues 
Act as an effective liaison between client project stakeholders and Sparkhound, able to align Sparkhound's various resources and capabilities to client project needs 
Define project requirements, including leading and eliciting requirements gathering sessions 
Develop costing proposals for new and existing projects, perform risk analysis, and manage change control 
Provide or contribute to business analysis, and user needs analysis for projects 
Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project 
Perform other related duties as required and assigned 

Professional Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years direct work experience providing senior level technology and/or business project management 
Minimum 3+ years of direct project management experience which included leading teams of both technical and business resources 
Certification in Project Management (PMP) preferred 
Strong written and oral communication skills 
Strong interpersonal skills 

Technical Experience: 
Experience leading large, complex custom software development projects utilizing the Microsoft stack, including SharePoint 
Strong ability to work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment while applying senior level experience to business and technology project decision-making 
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial 
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities 
Demonstrated experience with each phase of the Project Management Life Cycle 
Demonstrated experience with each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle 
Competent and proficient with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products 
Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies 
Ability to bring projects to successful completion through political sensitivity 
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other practices

Expertise in Enterpirse Project/Program Management Systems (Microsoft Project Sever, BrightWorks, etc.)
Experience at a national/international IT consulting organization 
MBA or equivalent graduate degree in business
