Genesis10 is seeking a Project Administrator to work in Plano, TX on long term contract opportunity supporting our financial industry client. 

Description:
The Project Administrator assists the project manager(s) in executing project deliverables, planning the work, and assessing/controlling risk for the project. The Project Administrator is responsible for meeting project objectives within established timeframes and updating project information in Clarity PPM such as risk/issue, WBS (work breakdown structure), recording hours and meeting minutes. This position will be assigned to a project manager(s) and will be working on multiple projects.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Add resources to projects
  • Maintain risks/issues log and remediation plans
  • Completes weekly status report in Clarity PPM under project manager direction
  • Perform weekly project data quality review
  • Project dashboard and performance metrics
  • Update project status in release SharePoint sites
  • Maintain and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Assist with tracking and reporting progress
  • Assist with developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Assist with communications to project team members and stakeholders
  • Help create meeting agendas
  • Assist with testing/QA coordination
  • Complete project documentation (with project manager review and approval)
  • Change requests
  • Assist with Initiative planning (charter, initiative plan, organize high level requirements)
  • Risks – updating of risk logs / register  
Financial Administration
  • Assist the project manager on the review / validation of quarterly assertions
  • Track project expenses (invoices) against budget
  • Assist with financial reporting
  • Complete timesheet reviews / ensures timely completion by all on project team
  • Monitoring of EVM (CPI and SPI), run and burn rate review and tracking  
    Meeting Coordination
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies on agile projects
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings
    • Reserve projector for meetings in advance – picks up, sets up and returns
    • Generation of meeting minutes and uploads them to Clarity PPM
  • Update SharePoint sprint calendar with vacations, ceremonies, and milestones
  • Coordination of lessons learned / retrospectives 
 
Requirements:
  • Three years project coordination experience
  • Training and working knowledge of Clarity PPM (strongly preferred)
  • Training and working knowledge of JIRA (or other enterprise Agile tool is strongly preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
  • Knowledge of IT standards, procedures & policies
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and practices
  • Basic understanding of scheduling and resource management
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
