Genesis10 is currently seeking a Non-Technical Project Manager with our client. This is a 4 month + contract position and a 100% remote opportunity.

  • We are looking for a project manager for our largest internal sales event of the year.
  • The candidate will handle project management for various sessions to deliver exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Employee Communications team by overseeing operational program management projects of varying complexity (audience size, business structure) including for the event's general session, business unit breakouts, and awards segments.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with Employee Communications team leads and stakeholders, continually seek opportunities to increase satisfaction and deepen relationships within working groups.
  • Execute program against project plan, including action items, owners, due dates, statuses, issues, lessons learned and risks.
  • Establish governance model including project standards, cadence and version control for project documentation and workflow, including optimizing our client's repository for tracking key deliverables and reusable templates.
  • Create and update key project deliverables (project charters, project plans, project resource plans, project budgets and communications project plans) and facilitate weekly meetings by sending meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes and tracking assigned project team activities.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports for the key project deliverables above, including regular updates on workstream progress to the Global PM.
  • Engage with external production and video companies on video deliverables, show flow, deck creation and live show execution.
  • After the event, track and report key metrics including NPS and survey results and identify sources of data, conduct analysis, derive key insights, and deliver recommendations.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years related work experience in live events and project management.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Desired:
  • Working knowledge of and/or ability to learn Airtable project management tool.
  • Experience working with Corporate Communication and Marketing teams in a Sales / Tech environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems logically and efficiently, identify sources of data, conduct complicated analysis, identify key insights and recommended actions.
  • Ability to communicate with executive team and business and sales leaders.
  • Ability to partner with production and video vendors on timelines and deliverables.
  • Ability to be highly productive and proactive with supporting key stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of large-scale in-person plus virtual events.
  • Goal-oriented, strategic thinker who can seamlessly execute tactics and juggle multiple internal clients and projects at a given time.
  • Self-starter with initiative.
Pay rate range: $75.00 - $90.00 hourly.
