Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Partners with Architecture to provide guidance on best practices for CDP
  • Assist development team to resolve issues related to Big Data Toolset
  • Provide input into strategies as they drive the team forward with delivery of business value and technical acumen
  • Execute on proof of concepts, where appropriate, to help improve our technical processes

Requirements:
  • 7+ years' experience in developing large-scale distributed systems and data-centric applications using Big Data tool with CDP eco system
  • Hands-on experience with containerization, Kubernetes, public cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
  • Understanding of performance analysis tools and techniques
  • Experience delivering initiatives from conception through completion
  • Hadoop, Spark, Hive

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working in banking industry
  • Experience working with Informatica or any other ETL tools
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience working with Oracle Exadata environment
  • Leading a team of developers in global delivery model

Pay Range: $55.06-$63.06
