Genesis10 is currently seeking a Workday Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect/Develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions that are extensible to future business needs in areas of Workday HCM, Comp, Benefits, and Security
  • Conduct working sessions with users to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions
  • Advise stakeholders on industry standards, providing suggestions to achieve clean configuration and streamlined processes
  • Design and implement requirements in Workday HCM, Comp, Benefits, and Security
  • Demonstrate creative solutions and configurations using prototyping
  • Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all projects
  • Work with developers, project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance staff to ensure that they fully understand the requirements, which includes reviewing high-level technical designs and detailed testing documentation
  • Serve as the HCM SME when working with members of the Integration Team
  • Document technology specifications for current and future configuration
  • Work in collaboration with other Workday team members on the requirements, design specifications, development, testing, and successful deployment of the Integration solution
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical functional issue resolution within the HCM and Compensation domain
  • Act as the HCM, Compensation, and Benefits domain lead for feature releases and issue resolution, working with business users, IT, vendors and other support teams to define scope, prioritize, plan and implement system changes and enhancements
  • Architect Workday HCM solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated
  • Provide stakeholder(s) with status updates and keep them apprised of overall domain status
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, deep analytical capabilities, creativity of a solution architect and process orientation of a functional expert
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and working with the HR Data COE & HR Reporting COE team(s) to evaluate gaps
  • Demonstrate deep working knowledge and creative solutioning in the performance management process, feedback, talent management, 9-box reporting, succession planning, development planning, calibration, reporting, and organizational structures
  • Demonstrate deep working knowledge and creative solutioning in the internal/external recruiting, the job application process, inputs/subprocess to the job application process, onboarding, hire, and reporting

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience enough to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • 7+ years of experience with HCM systems
  • 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM including Human Resources (HR), HCM, Compensation, Benefits, and Security
  • 3+ years of experience with project management
  • Knowledge of HR processes
  • Knowledge of touch points within HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Talent
  • Deep understanding of Workday security and ownership of end-to-end security design across Workday modules
  • Deep understanding of Workday data model, corporate system architecture, interfaces, reporting, and data loading procedures
  • Attention to detail and relentless commitment to follow-through
  • Ability to convey ideas and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences at all levels in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications
  • Strong expertise in cloud-based multi-tenant systems
  • Strong ability to work with others on solutions

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with HCM, Compensation, and Benefits related integrations a plus
  • Workday Pro or Workday Certifications strongly preferred

Pay Range: $63.68-$71.68
