Genesis10 is currently seeking an UI Developer with our client in the education industry located in Austin, TX. This is a 12 month contract with the right to hire.

Responsibilities:
  • As a UI Developer, you will bring your expertise in front end development with a focus on the user experience
  • In addition, you'll be highly valued for your ability to mentor teammates of the Digital Experience team
  • Take a UX/UI first approach to developing solutions for our end users
  • Be a key resource in the overall front-end architecture and development and be comfortable leading projects to completion
  • Take part in establishing development priorities and ensuring timely deliverables
  • Develop new user-facing features and be actively involved in continuously improving the platform
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to improve performance and the elegance of how we work
  • Work collaboratively with team of developers to plan and implement all features required for front end features

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of frontend development experience
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of HTML and DOM manipulation
  • Advanced CSS (Flexbox, CSS Grid, CSS custom properties, Sass)
  • Knowledge of and experience with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular)
  • Expertise in cross-browser responsive development across all modern platforms (PC, Mac, iPhone, Android and tablets)
  • Experience developing for headless CMS platforms, specifically Kentico Kontent
  • Exposure to RESTful services and .NET Core
  • Understanding of Git and GitFlow
  • Experience writing tests for your code

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) preferred
  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics a plus
