Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for validating that related activities function as designed
  • Responsible for setting testing processes and procedures for other testers, ensuring quality and completion of other testers outputs, functional, regression, integrated and performance testing, test data management, test environment management, and test batch support and operations
  • Ensure own and others' adherence to enterprise testing standards, frameworks, and controls
  • Implement continuous testing and test automation
  • Create, Maintain Soap UI, Selenium based Use cases for E2E integrated flows
  • May also include Production Certification which requires manual/automated scripts be executed to certify production health and/or identify post-production defects
  • Ability to work on complex testing projects and drive results by working across all levels - from test executioners to Senior Project and Technical Project Managers

Requirements:
  • 7-10 years' experience 
  • Strong knowledge on Manual and Automation testing using Selenium framework
  • Thorough knowledge around STLC and QA methodologies
  • Extensive experience in the field of testing and bring improvements to the process
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA Methodologies
  • Working experience of Agile software lifecycle, Test Driven development and End to End testing
  • Knowledge in (ADA) accessiblity testing by utelizing the Scren Readers such as JAWS, Keyboard Accessibility, Color Contrast Analyzer, Voice Over (iOS), Talkback (Android), Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
  • Strong knowledge on web service testing
  • SQL knowledge
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Quality Center, Q test, OCTANE and Selenium
  • Prior experience with ADA testing
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment with minimal supervision

Desired skills:
  • A technical background, test automation experience, banking domain knowledge and experience of working in global delivery team 
  • SPLUNK knowledge
  • Knowledge on DevOps testing
  • Good knowledge on SQL testing
  • Prior experience working with an Agile-based development team
  • Prior technology experience in the Brokerage industry preferably in Retail Wealth Management and Consumer banking
  • Prior experience in automation testing (QTP/Selenium/TOSCA)

Pay Range: $50.42 - $58.42
