Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Corporate Communications Associate. This is a 5 month + and 100% remote contract position located in San Francisco, CA.

- We are looking for a creative storyteller to manage content creation and delivery for our largest internal sales event of the year.
- The ideal candidate thinks strategically about how each piece of content fits into the bigger picture of the event while also executing the tactics.
- This person knows how to build in fun elements that are appropriate for a corporate event, thrives on deadlines, can and can juggle multiple internal clients and projects at a given time.
- The candidate must have experience in employee communications and events, be a self-starter, and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Areas of focus will be creating content for various event sessions, partnering with multiple subject matter experts to craft data-driven stories that bring our culture and values to life, and coaching speakers.
- In addition, this person should have experience partnering with content vendors along with PowerPoint design skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Employee Communications team leads on multiple content projects of varying complexity (audience size, business structure) including for the event's general session, business unit breakouts, and awards segments.
- Needs to be a self-starter, take initiative to identify areas where one can jump in / add value immediately.
- Work with presenters and Employee Communications team leads to write scripts and talking points that reinforce the business narrative and craft stories that bring our culture and values to life.
- Manage the video creation process, including pitching video story ideas that support the overall session agenda, interviewing video participants, writing scripts, storyboarding video assets, and working with the production team to execute final videos.
- Design interactive elements that engage employees through sessions, such as a trivia segment or employee talent showcase.
- Partner with the Employee Communications team leads to ensure messages are consistent, timely, and engaging, and that all materials are in the LinkedIn brand voice.
- Partner with a graphic designer on slide design.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in internal communications, executive communications, or employee event management.
- 5+ years of experience with go-to-market, sales, marketing and/or customer experience.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with keynote presentations, possibly to include speechwriting, storyboarding, or supporting similar events designed to inspire and engage attendees.
- Experience working with go-to-market, sales, marketing, or customer experience teams.
- Ability to learn quickly and pick up on our business language and culture.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on executive-level messages and collaborating with cross-functional global teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills.
- Keen eye for design and layout.
- Time management skills and ability to communicate progress and flag when a deliverable is at risk.
- Attention to detail, results-oriented, and a sense of humor (a bonus!)

Pay rate range: $70.00 - $100.00 hourly
