Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month + contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for driving strategic direction in a large team that works on data discovery and protection
- The candidate will be responsible to plan, create, and implement a strategic roadmap by analyzing present state of data discovery and data protection, developing future state approaches, and facilitating implementation of adoption solutions across the Enterprise
- Identify, develop, and execute strategies and supporting tactics to engage and influence all stakeholders to make needed behavioral and cultural changes
- Create a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control
- Assess the adoption risk associated with the change effort
- Communicate risks and rewards associated with decisions and actions to stakeholders in business-oriented terms and ensure all controls are in place to sustain risk mitigation
- Lead the Adoption and Sustainment of Change
- Identify and make recommendations regarding adoption work that will potentially proceed and highlight the risks of delayed and or stopped adoption events
- Plan, develop and execute an adoption roadmap to achieve the strategic data objectives
- This role requires forward thinking and the ability to proactively adapt and evolve the data strategy and tooling as the delivery needs change
- Be a strategic thought leader to drive integration and ensure cross team collaboration
- Provide thought leadership based on the significant experience they have built through multiple software implementations
- Establish strong working relationships with the impacted executive stakeholders to align all parties on strategic testing roadmap objectives
- Deliver critical messaging and updates in leadership forums as it relates to these objectives and support program leads in this capacity as well
- Ensuring alignment and buy-in of the plan is critical

- Manage critical multi-disciplinary processes, high-risk components and complex projects that impact CIO wide risk management
- Positively influence peers, colleagues, managers, tech execs, release managers, AIT owners, testers, and developers across organizational lines to align to and adopt Data Discovery and Protection
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of professional experience in technology delivery role of larger projects/programs
- Experience in planning and developing strategic roadmaps
- Strong executive presence and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to perform and excel in a matrix environment
- Excellent understanding of architectural concepts, principles, and best practices
- Experience with SDLC and LEAN Agile Development methodologies, Test Automation, Test Data Automation
- Must be highly motivated and assertive
- Strong project management skills
- Be proactive, well organized, and results-oriented
- Be able to manage multiple resources to ensure completion of quality deliverables
- Must have ability to work in a fast paced, cross-functional environment
- Ability to think out of box and provide innovative solutions
- Ability to work independently and drive E2E ownership of tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A strong track record of delivery and supporting successful implementations
- Agile tools (Jira)
Desired Skills:
- Previous banking experience
Pay Range: $43.56-$51.56
