Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Science Analyst with our client in their Mountain View, CA location. This is a 12 month + contract and a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities:
  • Extract and analyze data to derive actionable insights.
  • Formulate success metrics for completely Client products, socializing them and creating dashboards/reports to monitor them.

  • Design, build and launch extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data across a number of platforms including Data Warehouse, online caches and real-time systems.
  • Enable others in the organization to utilize your work by onboarding new metrics into our self-serve data system and the experimentation platform.
  • Build data expertise and own data quality for your areas.

Requirements:
  • BS/MS degree in a quantitative discipline: statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, computer science, engineering, economics, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications, software and web analytics.
  • 3+ years of work experience providing analytical insights and business reports to product or business functions.
  • 3+ years of experience with Tableau, QlikView, Microstrategy or other data visualization and BI dashboarding tools.
  • 3+ years' experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • 3+ years of SQL experience.
  • 3+ years' experience with Data Modeling.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Hadoop or other MapReduce paradigms and associated languages such as Pig, Sawzall, etc.
  • Experience presenting insights to senior leaders on a regular basis.
  • Expertise in applied statistics and in at least one statistical software package, preferably R or Python.
  • Proficiency in SQL and in a Unix/Linux environment for automating processes with shell scripting.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.

Pay rate range: $36.90 - $95.00 hourly.
