Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Requirements:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5-7+ years of extensive experience working as a Front end JS developer (familiarity with redux a plus)
  • Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles
  • Good understanding of Babel, ES6 Javascript or Typescript, npm, webpack
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest and Jasmine
  • Good understanding of LESS/SASS CSS, Bootstrap, Animations
  • Experience on working with NodeJS and SPA frameworks
  • Experience working with RDBMS or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with web services, Rest APIs and microservice based architecture
  • Understanding of Git version control, bitbucket, Jira
  • Experience with data query and manipulation languages like GraphQL, SQL
  • Ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment
  • Very good communication and problem solving skills
  • Experience building customer-facing web applications
  • A strong technical foundation and experience building user interfaces for complex applications

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with OpenFin or Finsemble is a big plus
  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Experience with Python
  • Preferred knowledge on ag grid/webix/similar datagrid components
  • Wireframing user interfaces (Figma/Axure/InVision), UI Mockups, UX Design

Pay Range: $53.20-$61.20
