Genesis10 is currently seeking an Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • As a Software Engineer, you will be required to implement methods to improve data reliability and quality
  • Combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats
  • You will be expected to develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modeling
  • The ultimate goal is to make data accessible so that organizations can use it to evaluate and optimize their performance

Requirements:
  • Experience with Agile and Lean philosophies, scrum ceremonies, Jira, Kanban
  • Automate metrics reporting utilizing third-party Oracle database to populate data points within Tableau
  • Experience with TOAD, MySQL, Oracle, and other relational databases and DBMS
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau and Excel
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams with varying levels of experience to achieve common goals
  • Agile tools (Jira)

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working within a bank
  • Experience working in the boundaries of governance or policy guidelines

Pay Range: $50.55-$58.55
