Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the risk and control governance function for Market Sales, Research and Client Facing Technology by partnering with management and their teams to apply subject matter expertise to support a culture of risk identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks
  • Responsible to help drive risk reduction in the respective technology teams
  • Responsible to provide quality assurance at the task level to provide feedback as needed and monitor the health of issues through their lifecycle, including reporting and adherence to board-level and management metrics
  • Drive collaboration with teammates across the portfolio and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk

Requirements:
  • BS+ in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or similar discipline
  • 2-4+ years professional, relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective at presenting findings, data, and conclusions to influence senior leaders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to document process steps, inputs, outputs, requirements, identify gaps, and improve workflow
  • Effective at prioritization, and time and project management
  • Strategic thinkers, self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SharePoint, etc.)
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Python
  • Experience in risk management, technology or financial service
  • Strong experience with executive-level report / presentation creation and delivery
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to influence across teams
  • Effective at identifying, assigning, and managing project tasks and timelines across teams
  • Sees the broader picture and is able to identify new methods for doing things

Pay Range: $58.33 - $66.33
