Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will immediately be responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects necessary to maintain the PME platform
  • This will include handling a significant amount of market and vendor changes, NPT remediation, Information Security vulnerabilities, LOB enhancement requests, system bug fixes and overseeing L3 support and will also include being responsible for driving overall platform Stability changes

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Java/J2EE programming with good understanding of Data Structures, Data Collections, Object Oriented Design, Object Oriented Programming
  • 5+ years of Strong Oracle(SQL and PL/SQL) is required
  • 3+ years of Python experience or 2+ years of Quartz
  • Core Java

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with functional programming is a big plus, Scala is a big plus
  • Experience with MVEL is a plus
  • Instrument reference data is a huge plus

Pay Range: $58.26-$66.26
