Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA, Plano, TX and Jacksonville, FL. This is a 8 month + contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • The person is responsible to involve in analysis, design, and development of project deliverables and is responsible for requirements gathering, design, development, testing and implementation of n-tier application architecture design and development of Java with spring boot/Angular software components that are standard based, high performance, scalable and robust
  • Primarily a Java developer to work across all layers of rich client, Full stack web applications built on Angular
  • Debug code to locate reported bugs and issues
  • Create appropriate unit tests for written code where appropriate
  • Refractor existing code to enhance readability, performance, and general structure
  • Create POC to demonstrate capabilities and implementation options
  • Provide support for customer issues raised that need to be debugged at a code level
  • Expected to play technical SME role as an individual contributor or with help of a small size team

Requirements:
  • Hands on experience working in Java/JEE/SpringBoot/JPA/REST/JSON web services
  • Should have experience working with Source control tools such as Git and BitBucket
  • Should have experience in design and develop products from scratch
  • Hands on experience working in Angular 2+ based UI development
  • Hands on experience with writing high quality code to add new features
  • Motivated self-starter who can work under direction

Desired Skills:
  • Hands on experience working with Ansible
  • Hands on experience working with Shell Scripting
  • Knowledge of container architecture and orchestration

Pay Range: $60.24-$68.24
