Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for designing and developing complex requirements for a high priority and complex application that uses multiple platforms in tracking trade and market surveillance coverage
  • Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate the software development and testing efforts (SDLC cycle) including release and post release support as required

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands on SSIS and SQL Server skill set
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Programming to process large volume of data on the server side
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD technologies such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Ansible Tower, Jenkins and Artifactory
  • Experienced in SSIS, MS SQL Server, PL/SQL and Autosys
  • Hands-on experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Datical, etc. 
  • Experience working in Agile development process and good understanding of various phases of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience in Autosys
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Dedicated, self-driven and willingness to take responsibility and ownership of application
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Desired skills:
  • Good understanding of core C# concepts and data structures
  • Hands on experience on integrating SSIS packages with C#/.Net code
  • Hands on experience of integrating SSIS with SOAP web APIs and parsing XML files
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot existing C# code
  • Good understanding of MVC application structure and has working knowledge of managing IIS websites

Pay Range: $58.26 - $66.26
