Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Application owner for Business Events Metadata Tool and potential new Business Events MicroApp/Service
  • Responsible for maintaining/ enhancing our internal Java web application and propose architectural solution to accomplish business requirements around it
  • Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • Awareness of Linux scripts and Oracle Database
  • Analysis of SQL queries in Teradata application and to perform unit tests and functions tests with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces
  • Responsible for building out Business Events Microapp/service for Business Events logging across Consumer and Wealth applications
  • Create new database objects

Requirements:
  • 7+ years with Java programming 
  • Java Packages
  • Java APIs
  • Apache HTTP Server ("httpd") configurations
  • JS [ Java Scripting]
  • JUnit [ Java code testing]
  • Database skill sets (Oracle is preferred but any 4th generation RDBMS will do [Teradata, DB2 , MySQL])
  • Coding update, inserts into RDBMS
  • Senior level testing abilities of RDBMS; Strong UNIX Admin skills
  • Familiar with development and testing practices 

Desired skills:
  • Banking Domain knowledge
  • Any one Reporting Tool

Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06
