Genesis10 is seeking an IT Analyst - Database Administrator for a leading company in North Canton, OH. This is a direct hire, W2 position that pays $70-85K/year based on experience. This role will be hybrid.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for maintenance, support, integration, troubleshooting, and all administrative functions of client's MS SQL databases and servers. Individuals in this role will monitor changes and critical conditions related to SQL databases and operating systems and provide customer support as required.

Job Description:
  • Assist database administrators with the design, development, maintenance, support, integration, troubleshooting, and other administrative functions as directed
  • Monitor performance of database systems and database storage resources
  • Monitor and maintain database optimization, index rebuild/defragment, and database statistics
  • SQL Server Installation, upgrades, migrations, configuration, and decommissioning
  • Apply database software service packs and cumulative updates as necessary
  • Maintain database documentation as required
  • Maintain and administer database security access
  • Perform database Ad-hoc backups and restores
Responsibilities/Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in IT or business related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or business-related discipline and,
  • US Citizenship or Green Card.
  • SQL Server Enterprise security
  • Log Shipping configuration
  • SQL Always-On configuration, scripting, SQL Server database backup/ Restore and disaster recovery, Server replication
  • Stored procedures
  • Data import/export
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
