Genesis10 is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst for a 6 month contract position with our client.

Seeking a self-motivated and diligent professional for a Temp position in the Regulatory Reporting Analysis Department. The individual will be involved and support the remediation and control enhancement projects within regulatory reporting framework.

Position Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Knowledge and understanding the preparation of the FRY9C, FRY9LP, and FRY11, and FFIEC002 reports
  • Interact with other various departments to support the remediation projects and perform testing of any remediation solutions
  • Support implementation of cross reporting reconciliations across the regulatory reports (e.g., Y9C, FFIEC041, Focus, FFIEC002, FR2900, FR2420)
  • Enhance overall supervisory process through full review of the runbook to create capacity and redesign role and responsibilities and reframe required expectations
  • Support control and supervisory control enhancement to ensure supervisory controls and enhanced and effective.
  • Track updates from Owners and provide review process by ensuring that regulatory issues are being addressed in a timely manner and in line with regulatory expectations
  • Facilitate escalation and resolution of any material issues, delays, or stakeholder conflicts in ongoing remediation actions
  • Able to provide the proper reporting to team leads and management of the remediation efforts.
  • Be able to manage and meet tight reporting/project deadlines

Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge and working experience branches/BHC preparation of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., Y9C, FFIEC002,
  • Strong with financial products (e.g., derivatives, securities, loan, repo etc.)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years knowledge and experience in the preparation of regulatory reports of financial institutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high level of deadline driven sense of urgency; attention to details, accuracy, and accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and Good analytical skills
  • Be able to work independently and proactively
  • Knowledge of FRB regulatory reporting and methodology interpretations
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills, including experience in analytics and reporting that can be used for monitoring and escalation, as well as identifying issues.
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal) and comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Team- oriented, ability to be proactive in raising concerns, and escalate problems as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, charts and graphs
