Genesis10 is seeking a Implementation PM for a contract with our client in Minneapolis, MN 100% Remote

Summary:

The Implementation Project Manager  (IPM)  will oversee all aspects of multiple client implementations as a member of the Optum RX Implementation Team. The primary focus of the Implementation PM  will be managing the implementation objectives of new Health Plan implementations. The  IPM will support the organization's strategic direction and growth in the PBM industry by applying a clearly defined project management approach for new Health plan implementations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead new Health Plan (all sizes) implementations. Can include multiple lines of business within the health Plan - Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and Exchange business.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedule estimates, resource plans, status reports, and implementation priorities.
  • Direct and coordinate the teams of operations, business, product and technical contributors to ensure the successful delivery of properly scoped, meeting client expectations, on-time for project timelines, within budget, high-quality solutions.
  • Support Sales team with client RFP responses, finalist support pre, post and during finalist meetings,
  • Lead communicator for overall project risk issues & status for clients, OptumRx, & Health Care Company. This includes providing OptumRx readiness reporting & Optum Elevate readiness reporting
  • Maximize team for all aspects of leading and reporting on implementations. Ensure factual, timely, and quality implementations tracking, analysis, and reporting using a variety of documents and communication strategies.
  • Ensure Service Now work flow tool updates are timely and meet QA standards for Sr. IPM role to ensure 100% accuracy and timeline for each implementation. Also manage other teams updates to the client SN project to ensure completeness.
  • Provide technical, business, analytical, and strategic guidance to entire ORX implementation team. Attend all IT development meetings to ensure contractual obligations are met and met regularly with IT lead on progress and obstacles to deploy.
  • Review deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards, implementations and team performance measurements.
  • Obtain sign-offs on all deliverables from key parties, include Health plan leadership.
  • Make timely and appropriate decisions to ensure implementations are on track for successful delivery.
  • Recommend and take necessary actions to direct the analysis and solutions of problems; escalate when needed. Ensure developed solutions match Client requirements.
  • Serve as communicator of all ORX issues and implementation reporting involving Implementation and Operations leadership and technical leaders.
  • Work with Account Management for Client handoff & ensure all implementation items are tracked, documented and closed, in agreement with Account Management.
  • Lead cross-functional quality initiatives centered on improving the implementation process, post mortem reviews with clients, Sales, ORX leaders also.
Qualifications:
  • Previous Health Plan experience from benefit management within a health plan or at with PBM new client experience with large Health Plan on-boarding and continued management support.
  • Provide, promote and maintain excellent interdepartmental relationship and communication with all levels of employees. Provide and maintain excellent client/customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical abilities and exceptional communication skills are required in order to converse with all levels of clients; internal and external. Also must have excellent presentation, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage people and processes and the ability to work and achieve positive and successful results in a fast-paced, changing, team-oriented, high-growth, and rewarding environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationship, manage resources, negotiate, solve problems and issues, resolve conflicts, and communicate.
  • Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Outlook, and MS Visio.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and prioritize appropriately to meet strict deadlines is essential.
  • Monitors client performance guarantees to ensure guarantees are met.
  • Promotes a positive work environment and encourages team work as well as serves as a mentor and coach for all ORX team members.
  • Follows all policies and procedures relating to job responsibilities and develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures, as appropriate.
  • Serve as a lead on creating a training program, documenting desk level procedures, mentoring team members, and assisting in finalist presentations and/or client demonstrations.
  • Must have a broad understanding of Health Plans or PBM concepts including data exchange file formats/methodology, benefit plan design setup, claims adjudication, marketing communications, process flow mapping and customer service.
  • Receives general objectives and operates with moderate independence.
  • Travel as required.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) is required; and Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) is preferred. Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business or other related subject matter.
  • 6-8 years' experience in the PBM, health care, pharmacy industry with specific emphasis on Health Plan implementations and/or account management preferred.
  • Proven track record in implementing large, complex Health Plan clients.
  • Independent contributor with the ability to multi-tasks, work with ORX leaders and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) with 2-4 years' experience preferred
  • Must have PBM industry experience.

Lead the projects for new client implementations for OptumRx. The Implementation PM's could be managing 1 large client implementation or multiple smaller client implementations,. Must have strong relationship building experience, any end client experience as they will be interfacing with the end client, strong attention to detail and not let any " balls drop”.
