Genesis10 is seeking a Systems Support Analyst for our client in Indianapolis, IN. This is a direct-hire position.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Client's Director of IT, this exempt position will use specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education, experience, specialized training and/or certification to support, maintain and improve Client's operations and product through best use of technology. This role is responsible to help Client continue to function as efficiently as possible and successfully develop strategies to remain a leader in product delivery. The Systems Analyst will work on a variety of software systems and develop expert level knowledge of these systems. This position will create and maintain a thorough data dictionary, assist in maintaining MS SQL instances to ensure speed, reliability, and accuracy of database systems. Position will also determine how to best utilize the various tools that come bundled with Office 365 and help obtain and maintain HITRUST certification.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
  • Ensures security of existing applications and processes through appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Audits all systems for continual assessment of security in all areas related to use of technology or data delivery to insure constant product stability.
  • Maintains system documentation and standards.
  • Provides support and performs SQL automation, performance, and maintenance.
  • Create maintenance plans for all databases.
  • Assist in the management of program upgrades, communications and documentation of system design.
  • Provide guidance as to how Client can best use the suite of products included with Office 365
  • Assist in making the most of implementations of Jira and Confluence.
  • Help create processes and procedures to obtain and maintain HITRUST certification.
  • Support end user hardware/software/user accounts.
  • Supervisory Responsibility:
  • This position is an administrative position that will not be responsible for directly supervising others.

  • This position has access to highly confidential information, which will require exceptional confidentiality to protect the privacy of clients as well as Client's intellectual property.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Focus infrastructure, networking, desktop support, patches and backups etc.
  • Strong knowledge of data security and access control.
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Experience with various aspects of Office 365
  • Knowledge of a wide range of concepts within IT.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for end user PCs, laptops, and printers.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence is a plus.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points is a plus.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting/automation preferred.
