Genesis10 is seeking an Application Development Manager for our client in Poland, OH.  This is a direct-hire opportunity.
 
Job Summary:
Guided by the Director of Application Development, the Application Development Manager will lead the Application Development team on their quest to develop and/or modernize Client's current platforms and technologies utilizing .NET, Node.js, Angular and/or React.   The Application Development Manager will lead the team in developing new applications in the above frameworks while working closely with the architecture team.

  • Maintain excellent organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and deadline management
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical ability and aptitude to translate designs from business concepts into sound technical solutions
  • Ability to communicate and express technological ideas clearly and concisely with technological, business, and outside resources
  • Ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects/priorities daily
  • Troubleshooting skills, both analytical and technical 
Responsibilities/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Application Development
  • Experience in Node.js/React/Angular and/or .NET framework
  • AWS Cloud experience
  • In depth knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies
  • Ability to develop a unique understanding of Client's brand, products, and services
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and persuasively before others.
  • Ability to apply basic concepts. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, businesses and community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form. Ability to perform duties with awareness and in accordance with Client's policies. 
Supervisory/Leadership Responsibilities: 
  • This position is responsible for leading the Application Development team by fostering an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and development and high performance. 
  • Coaching/training of direct reports as it relates to the application(s) they are working on
  • Sharing knowledge of applications with direct reports
  • Reporting large-scale technical or security issues to director when appropriate
