Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry in their Jersey City, NJ and Charlotte, NC location. This is a 12 month + contract position.

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in IT 
  • Strong hands-on knowledge in Spark, Scala, Hive HQL, HDFS, Shell Scripts and SQL
  • Experience in gathering requirements, designing complex applications and creating technical documents
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata and Autosys
  • Experience with coding and testing prototypes
  • Experience with unit tests especially in Hadoop environment
  • Knowledge of Agile development SDLC process
  • Working experience with CI/CD processes, tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence) and production deployment release process (e.g. change requests)
  • Working experience in Banking domain (Wholesale Credit space is a plus)
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
