Genesis10 is currently seeking am IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry in their Charlotte, NC location. This is a 12 month + contract position.

  • Responsible for managing projects to collectively deliver desired business outcomes
  • Project managers lead a variety of different types of projects including large scale non permitted technology remediation via infrastructure upgrades and deployments and operational efficiency improvements
  • Project managers may manage multiple projects and may have end to end responsibility for the work effort and will lead technology initiatives
  • Will be required to proactively analyze, monitor and track all not permitted technology (NPT) remediation efforts, issues, updates, provide status, ongoing reviews, exception approvals and the risk metrics across Workspace Services
  • Partner with LOB points of contact, technology points of contact, and application teams to track and/or develop remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities and update the system of record with progress
  • This person will present key findings, progress, and all hurdles and issues to leadership on a regular basis and influence stakeholders to prioritize/execute risk management issues and drive remediation efforts
  • Analyst will carry out these responsibilities in collaboration with IT, business technology groups, risk partners and GIS teams across their respective LOB
  • They will drive overall technology remediation execution and manage key-stakeholder relationships and act as their advocate throughout the life of the project
  • Review and analyze all vulnerability scan results to identify all not permitted technology and report findings to appropriate partners
  • Review all current and existing vulnerabilities for active and acceptable remediation plans
  • These plans may be reviewed with LOB point of contacts, Application Owners, Risk contacts or System Administrators
  • Verify that remediation plans are implemented per remediation plan and GIS guidelines
  • Review and identify any potential gaps that may result in possible audit issues
  • Respond to relevant requests received from stakeholders, or representatives of stakeholders, for investigation of potential reporting issues
  • Provide all necessary reports and presentations on the status of remediation efforts and all gaps and potential obstacles or issues to management and technical staff
  • Maintain status and track all remediation efforts and issues and update the system of record
  • Follow up with Application Managers: action steps tracking, issues, updates, status, ongoing reviews, and exception approvals
  • Communicate progress made and issues impeding remediation
  • Drive remediation of end-user device type vulnerabilities
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein and all special assignments as needed or assigned
  • Project Management Certification with 3+ years of Project/Program management experience
  • ITIL Certification
  • Strong PM knowledge, ability to lead a team and drive to results
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must possess analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be a nimble thinker who can be successful in a fast changing environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate/operate with senior leaders and line of business representatives
  • Ability to provide project status on deliverables or escalate issues to sr. leaders and executives
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong project financial management skills
  • Experience in tracking the tasks and progress of a major project, escalating and resolving issues, planning for and managing resources and funding
  • Must have excellent analytical skills and, at least, 5 - 7 years of experience as a Technical Analyst working closely with business partners
  • Must be proficient in MS Office with ability to quickly analyze and synthesize large volumes of data
  • Broad technical background utilizing technologies, such as Server and workstation Operating Systems, Network Security, Vulnerability Scanning Engines, and Compliance Management solutions
  • Well-developed analytical skills / qualitative/ problem solving / conceptual thinking
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to deliver multiple efforts concurrently
  • Has experience leading or participating in large or complex projects
  • Ability to work in a very detailed manner as well as to look broadly to develop connections and themes identifying risk and concerns
  • Self-motivated and operates with a sense of urgency and willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, time management and task prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management
  • Foster collaborative relationships within and across business units
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical business owners; ability to communicate risks and propose counter measures to senior technology executives; ability to facilitate discussions
  • Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
