Genesis10 is currently seeking an Implementation Functional Support Analyst with our client in the financial industry in their Charlotte, NC location. This is a 12 month + contract to hire position.

Description:
  • The Implementation Functional Support Analyst is a dual role in which you will either act as a Functional Consultant or as Project Manager, depending on the needs of the team for a given project
  • When acting as Functional Consultant, you would be responsible for gathering client business requirements and designing and configuring a solution that meets the needs of the client
  • The Functional Consultant is responsible for the configuration and end-to-end testing support of Concur Expense and Concur Request
  • Under the direction of the Concur Project Manager, the Functional Consultant completes project milestones, alternately, when acting as Project Manager, your role would be as the team leader to manage the Concur team's resources, to manage client requirements and scheduling for upcoming projects
  • The Project Manager consults with a variety of Concur and client resources to identify solutions for each implementation
  • The Project Manager is responsible for managing all project deliverables
  • Complete implementations within aggressive timeframe while consistently delivering exceptional levels of work quality and client satisfaction
  • There will be times where you will take on a dual role and act as a Functional Consultant and Project Manager for smaller projects as a single resource
Responsibilities:
  • Manage implementation, acting in the role of project and Functional support
  • Activities include, but are not limited to: leading project calls, understanding and analyzing client business requirements, providing guidance on optimal configuration options to meet business partner's needs and scope of Concur integrations and preparing for deployment all within defined timeframe of completion
  • Gather functional and business requirements from business partners and translate into a functional solution design according to needs and scope of Concur Products/Services Configure Concur Expense and Concur Request to meet solution design requirements, with an emphasis on audit rules, exceptions and receipt handling rules
  • End-to-end testing support including writing and executing test scripts and supporting User Acceptance Testing by running jobs, tracking testing status and troubleshooting testing issues
  • Supporting administrative- and governance-oriented application maintenance tasks
  • Proactively provide status updates to business and technical partners to ensure successful and timely implementation
  • Escalate issues to designated team contacts and/or cross-functional teams in a timely manner to ensure implementation issues are addressed early
  • Detail all implementation activities in Project tracking system accurately track project time allocation on a daily basis
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
Requirements:
  • BS/BA or a combination of experience and education/training equivalent to a four year college degree
  • 2+ years' experience in a related client-facing role, such as implementation, consulting, project management, or advanced customer support
  • Prior experience implementing, administering, or supporting Concur Expense is a strong plus and would be considered in lieu of client-facing experience
  • Experience with Expense Management software solutions highly desirable
  • Previous experience implementing financial or hosted applications preferred
  • Well-rounded software implementation experience strongly preferred Experience
  • In the role of project manager for software implementations
  • Experience gathering requirements and writing specifications for software solutions
  • Hands on experience configuring software solutions to client specifications
  • Understanding of implementation methodologies and project management in a software company
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid, and ever-changing work environment and able to facilitate changes as situation requires
  • Must be a quick study and self-starter, able to roll up sleeves and manage hands-on in a team environment
  • Excellent organization, planning and project management capabilities
  • Must possess effective presentation skills as well as excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to confidently use knowledge and experience while consulting with clients on the best ways to meet their needs
  • Strong problem resolution skills - proven ability to engage and interact with internal teams to resolve client issues
