Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager / Project Integration Lead for a 9+ month contract position located in Kansas City, MO.
We are currently seeking a Project Integration Lead (PIL) who will oversee and drive all aspects of a client Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) implementation and transition with oversite of multiple lines of business. The primary focus of the PIL will be to oversee the Health Plan transition objectives of new health plan PBM implementation.
You will actively engage with all workstreams, stakeholders and account management leaders across the health plan and PBM implementation teams to ensure delivery of commitments in accordance with industry best practices. You'll will work onsite at the health plan office in Kansas City during the implementation and transition project.
  • Manage health plan PBM Implementation, including Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and Exchange lines of business
  • Act as a subject matter expect in PBM Implementations by supporting end to end integration activities and planning
  • Oversee detailed work plans, schedule estimates, resource plans, status reports, and implementation priorities
  • Supervise progress of operations, business, product and technical contributors to ensure the on-time, successful delivery of properly scoped high-quality project requirements
  • Ensure factual, timely, and quality implementation tracking, analysis, reporting and communication strategies are utilized using established policies & procedures
  • Proactively support client expectations & performance guarantee commitments by engaging with all project stakeholders.
  • Serve as engaged communicator for overall project status, with regard to issues, risk, & mitigation strategies for health plan clients and PBM partners.
  • Provide expertise in technical, business, analytical, and strategic guidance during implementation. Attend all development meetings to ensure contractual obligations are met and meet regularly with workstream leads on progress and obstacles.
  • Review deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards, implementations and team performance measurements
  • Provide timely and appropriate input to ensure implementations are on track for successful service and go live readiness
  • Ensure all implementation items are tracked, documented and closed, in agreement with client intent
  • Provide expertise in cross-functional quality initiatives centered on improving the implementation process, & post go live lessons to learn reviews with clients and executive leaders
  • Conduct analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefit assessments to help identify other services as needed
  • Monitor and assess operational performance compared to demand
  • Facilitate and drive activities that support the ongoing stability and performance of the implementation and transition
  • Collaborate with leaders within the organization to establish, communicate, and assist in implementing strategic capabilities
  • Be a self-starter and team player with solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years' experience in the PBM, health plan, pharmacy industry
  • 3+ Implementation or large healthcare project management experience
  • Independent contributor with the ability to multi-task, work with leaders and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Adapt and prioritize rapidly changing priorities
  • Excellent written, oral, and active listening communication skills. Demonstrated ability to message, position, and present information for maximum impact and influence.
  • Strong experience in influencing with soft power and negotiating win - win solutions
  • Proven ability to ascertain client needs through active listening skills, and consultatively work with clients to achieve business objectives
Desired Skills:
  • Previous Healthcare or project management experience
  • Project Management Professional Certification
  • PBM account management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
