Genesis10 is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator for a direct hire position with an asset management firm located in New York, NY.

Review, analyze and evaluate IT/business processes and user needs, as it relates to services managed by the IT Product & Services Engineering team. Primary focus of efforts will be for projects related to ServiceNow environment. Efforts will evolve over time to other Product & Services Engineering initiatives. Maintain the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform by performing application maintenance, managing support for incidents related to ServiceNow applications, and contributing to ServiceNow software releases by delivering configuration tasks and features. The Administrator will have sound technical ability that enables the fulfillment of common configuration and maintenance tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve incidents against ServiceNow applications
  • Manage ServiceNow license & user/group administration
  • Manage & create notification designs for the ServiceNow applications
  • Lead ServiceNow platform upgrade planning and execution
  • Manage ServiceNow ATF, including maintenance of test scripts and performing tests
  • Identify ServiceNow system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Participate in creating and developing standards, best practices, support guidelines and procedures
  • Schedule and verify ServiceNow instance clones
  • Manage ServiceNow Update Set creation and migration
  • Create ServiceNow forms (standard changes, service catalog)
  • Develop and document administration procedures and system configurations
  • Write, review, and validate clear technical specifications and documentation
  • Research feature enhancements and new products from ServiceNow and other platforms managed by Product & Service Engineering team (ex: VMware, Intune, Microsoft System Center)

Job Qualifications:
  • Solid team player with a "can do” attitude
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow configuration & administration
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change Management, Incident Management, Knowledge Management, Workflow Management, Orchestration, etc.
  • Ability to perform core ServiceNow configuration tasks such as creating workflows, configuring alerts and notifications
  • Ability to contribute to and lead projects following Agile methodology
  • Process and detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and documentation skills
  • Past training and certifications are preferred.
