Genesis10 is seeking a Device Connectivity & Database Development Engineer for our client in Streetsboro, OH.  This is a direct-hire position in Streetsboro, OH.
 
Job Description:
  • Analyze software and hardware requirements against known customer defined requirements, to develop and execute verification and validation strategies for the Device Connectivity and Database development processes
  • Conduct and direct failure investigations associated with issues identified during the product life cycle including project concept, development, customer feedback, etc.
  • Conduct and direct the problem-solving efforts associated with  issues identified during the product life cycle including project concept, development, customer feedback, etc.
  • Compile and maintain the Design History Files associated with Device Connectivity and Database designs
  • Provide hardware and software engineering expertise as a member of design review, risk assessment, code review, and Cyber Security teams
  • Develop Test cases
  • Develop manual and automated test scripts
  • Respond to potential client's security clearance RFI's
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the Company
  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective hardware vendor program
  • Ensure that all product requirements are clearly defined and supported by validated acceptance test criteria.
  • Perform or supervise all required incoming inspection.
  • Determine appropriate disposition of suspected non-conforming products.
  • Perform vendor audits and monitor activities required to address any observations requiring corrective or improvement actions.
  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective Database Development Quality Process with proper checks and balances, reviews and testing are in place to ensure that all requirements are consistently met.

 Required:
 
  • Bachelor of Science / Engineering Degree or Higher Required
 
Required Skills:

Preferred:
 
  • 5-10 years in quality and regulatory roles in a healthcare software medical device company
  • Strong experience with Data analysis and data management development and assessment
  • Firm understanding of regulations and standards applicable to the products and services offered by the company
  • Work in international markets a plus
  • Experience with developing cyber security plans a plus
