Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager to work in Dallas, TX on a long-term contract supporting our financial industry client.

Summary:
This is a regulatory reporting initiative requiring sourcing data from numerous systems to support compliance and reporting requirements for the FDIC 370 and QFC Recordkeeping regulations.  AxiomSL will be used as the solution platform.  This consultant will be leading on one or more workstreams on this initiative.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for establishing, implementing and enforcing enterprise project management policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for coordinating all phases (from analysis through implementation) of project.
  • Works in partnership with business stakeholders, program management and technology partners to ensure that maximum client satisfaction is being provided by their team.
  • Must be familiar with the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
  • Leads a matrixed-team
  • Applies project controls (change control, documentation, meeting minutes) in support of delivery objectives.
  • Provides and communicates regular status reports and project updates to program management and project stakeholders.
  • Ensures issues are surfaced in sufficient time to react from both a business and technology standpoint.
  • Proactive monitoring of project activities to identify and mitigate business and technology risk.
  • Conducts team meetings regularly to assess project status
  • Conducts thorough analysis to ensure that project scope and requirements have been adequately defined.
  • Identifies and summarizes system and data considerations as business problems and project requirements are refined.
  • Utilizes project planning and monitoring software to track progress.
  • Provides analytical/technical support to all team members and extended team members in surfacing and promptly resolving issues that emerge.
  • Utilizes project planning and organization skills and other strategies to ensure the successful completion of projects to which they are assigned.
  • Oversees and performs all quality assurance techniques and procedures in accordance with client methodologies to ensure the quality goals and objectives are met.
  • Oversees preparation of technical documentation and procedures.
  • Maintains risk, assumption, issue and decision tracking
  • Conducts post-implementation review session and documents lessons learned.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Project Management experience
  • Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) skills
  • Advanced leadership with the ability to effectively manage / lead a group of associates that do not have a direct/solid line reporting relationship
  • Experience leading large initiatives reporting to and working with a Program Management Office
  • Experience in the Banking or financial services industry
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification
  • CA PPM experience
