Genesis10 is currently seeking a Charles River Application Support Engineer with our client in their New York, NY location. This is a direct hire position.

  • Seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer who can support the Charles River Order Management System 
  • The Application Service Delivery (ASD) organization is a uniquely positioned team that provides a broad range of global, firm wide services. In addition to traditional production support towers, ASD manages Shared Services platforms (including Enterprise Scheduling, Business Intelligence, and Evergreen) and a dedicated Quality Assurance discipline
  • We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with a proven track record of supporting a variety of portfolio management and trading systems. The candidate will work within a team of support engineers providing day to day support of trade flow applications and processes following incident, problem and change management standards
  • The role will appeal to a hands-on, well-rounded individual with strong quantitative, analytical and technical skills with a passion for supporting mission critical applications
  • Team member for a critical Equity trading support function – including Portfolio Management, Trading, and Routing; requiring end to end investment process knowledge
  • Knowledge of Charles River Development (CRD) platform is required
  • Proactively identify issues within the environment and lead solutions to resolve them
  • Leverage ITSM toolset to continuously improve how systems are being monitored and supported
  • Coordinate Release Implementation and support; including managing Permits to Operate
  • BS or BA Degree and at least 10 years' experience
  • 10 years' industry experience supporting Equity trading applications
  • Extensive knowledge with end to end Equity processes; research platforms, trading systems (pms/oms), accounting systems, and client data delivery
  • Broad, hands-on experience with Incident, Problem and Change Management systems
  • Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot application issues with complex business processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of professional pride and individual accountability
