Genesis10 is actively seeking a Robotics Technician for a CONTRACT TO HIRE position with our Facilities Industry client located in Etna, OH.
 
Description:
  • Genesis10 is seeking a Robotics Technician in Etna, OH.
Responsibilities:
  • Team member must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. "Safety First” expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform preventive and/or corrective maintenance on robotic systems and components.
  • Maintain inventories of production supplies such as sensors and cables.
  • Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems.
  • Document robotics test procedures and results.
  • Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools and power tools.
  • Servicing and repairing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of electrical or electronic (not mechanical) principles.
  • Servicing, repairing and adjusting machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical (not electronic) principles.
  • Repairs to be performed in conformance with established standards. Assist in formulating standards/work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
  • Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by job.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic principles
  • PC competency, Word & Excel, Kindle Platforms and Windows OS
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize different projects and work load
  • Good mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Skilled trade training or equivalent technical expertise in Industrial Maintenance or Robotics
  • Troubleshooting; able to ID and understand the resources needed to resolve problems
  • Ability to work successfully with little supervision
  • Communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors and vendors
  • Experience and proficiency in the following areas:
  • Blueprint and electrical schematic reading Knowledge of CMMS programs
  • Preventive and Predictive maintenance procedures
  • Knowledge of N.E.C.
  • Must have working knowledge of the following: proper use of hand/power tools and electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic equipment, shop math, fasteners, measurements, and parts nomenclature.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, climb flights of stairs, work from elevated areas, and wear a respirator when required by the job. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate hand tools and industrial machinery such as a truck or fork-lift. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift and /or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud in certain areas, requiring hearing protection. Occasionally work from elevated areas (ladders, platforms, scaffolding, and others as required).
