Genesis10 is currently seeking a Post Close Reviewer with our client in their Akron, OH location. This is a 3 month contract with right to hire position.

  • Seeking a Post Close Reviewer
  • Ensure the timely and accurate recording of all closing related documents and prepare files for final policy

  • Maintain updated state and county recording regulations and fees
  • Calculate and cut checks for all recording fees
  • Review and proofread documents and send for recording within time frame set by supervisor
  • Follow up with examiners, courthouses and e-record providers to ensure documents have been recorded
  • Correct and process all rejected documents
  • Status all recorded documents in system and return to customers
  • Monitor and maintain logs tracking e-recording information
  • Back up recording and examiner check logs or audit invoicing
  • Perform post closing audits on completed settlement files for accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Prepare title files for policy by ensuring all documentation needed is in file and/or attached to order management system
  • Handle all files which have been rejected for final policy
  • Handle all policy and recorded document requests from customers
  • Assist with lien clearance functions, if needed
  • Ability to work from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Must be personable, positive and a professional representative of the Company
  • Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events
  • Ability to accept supervision
  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person
  • Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor
    Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
    • Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday
    • Must be able to work approved and requested overtime, by supervisor
    • Repetitive and continual typing motion is required
  • Sedentary work:Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to list, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
    • Sedentary work involves sitting a majority of the time
    • Walking and standing are required, occasionally
