 Application Support Lead
We are looking for a capable Application Support Lead with background in Java/J2EE technologies, Apache Tomcat , SQL Server and ITIL process.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • • Lead and prioritize the Application Support team's workload
  • • Manage and Own the Incident / Problem Management Process
  • • Develop, co-ordinate and promote the effective functioning of incident / problem management activities across all support teams
  • • Contribute to the planning of application/infrastructure releases and configuration changes
  • • Managing and owning team's day-to-day activities and quality in terms of using right practices
  • • Excellent debugging and analysis skills, identifying fixes for reported issues by business team/users in production
  • • Participating in Deployments and releases
  • • Participating in performance tuning/improvement
  • • Coordinating dependencies with onsite, offshore and any other external teams
 Required Skills:
  • • 4 years of experience in ITIL process
  • • 5 years of experience in Linux / Unix environments
  • • 6 years of hands on programming experience with Java/J2EE skills, Database: SQL Server, App/Web Server : Apache / Tomcat
  •    Experience as support lead
  •    SQL Server Exp or Linux database
  •    Client facing experience
  •    Experience with web technologies like Servlets, Spring and Struts
  • • Experience with SQL on any of the RDBMS – MsSQL
  • • Experience with Web Services – SOAP, REST
  • • Exposure to performance testing using JMeter is good to have
  • • Good team player and coordination skills
 This application is to be run in 22 countries.
L3/L4 Support will be required from the candidate
1-year contract
Max Budget: Singaporean/ SPR – SGD 7000 + CPF
                      DP Holder – SGD 8000
