Key accountabilities include:

·        Work with customers to identify and understand the business requirements

·        Provide expertise in development of the value proposition for the investment and define and measure the key value drivers to ensure project is value accretive

·        Develop cost effective, operable, maintainable and supportable automation solutions that address business problems and integrate with other existing/future business systems

·        Adhere to and help improve automation standards and controls

·        Advise and support one or many project teams on automation strategy and act as single point of contact for those assigned projects in delivery

·        Identify and assess technical risks associated with systems and Decision Automation

·        Ensure that framework and automation controls are designed into solution requirements and systems architecture to drive automation readiness



Skillset required


We are looking for technologists passionate about decision science and automation with experience in delivering safe and competitive Decision Automation solutions. Project Management skills will be highly beneficial. Willingness to travel, where required, to engage with customers.

·        Able to understand business processes and evaluate the value proposition of automation technologies – experience with mining or other heavy industry operations beneficial

·        Understand the value proposition of technology within the resource and energy industries

·        Fundamental knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, including computer-electronic components

·        Knowledge of the software development process, IT / OT integration and infrastructure components

·        Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles, and Test and Evaluation methodologies.




·        STEM degree is essential

·        MBA or advanced engineering degree beneficial

·        Agile or further postgraduate qualifications related to technology well regarded
