  • Manages the procurement of products and services necessary for SLFAS operations by ensuring that the Procurement OG is followed and exceptions, if needed, are approved by the defined authority.
  • Develop and administer procurement policies, guidelines and standards in the acquisition process
  • Direct the Procurement Team in developing strategic sourcing using primary vendors.
  • Manage the Procurement Team in developing and implementing a procurement strategy through demand management and product standardization.
  • Direct the Team in contract management with various vendors and suppliers.
  • Direct the Procurement Team in developing spend planning through collaboration with various requisitions groups.
  • Determines alternative method of procurement i.e. blanket P.O., contracting, bid or auction.
  • Direct the Procurement Team in analyzing market, reviews supplier base and pricing structure.
  • Direct the Procurement Team in evaluating competitive offerings to determine the best value for the company
  • Direct the Procurement Team in evaluating supplier performance. Tracks supplier performance and resolves contract problems with suppliers.
  • Direct the Procurement Team in cost reduction initiative and savings monitoring.
  • Schedules the Procurement Committee meeting, prepares the agenda for PC review and prepares the minutes of the meetings.
  • Handles procurement of big ticket items/projects.
  • Ensure all related governance processes/policies are adhered to and completed prior to final approval to ensure the acquisition and/or project/service is done in the best interest of the company (legal, technical, financial, regulatory compliance
  • Keeps abreast on new products and technology updates. Prepares procurement-related reports.
  • Implement and manage Third-Party Risk Management and Supplier Performance and Risk Management (SRPM) program of the company.
