The Position

Reporting to the Hillsboro Site Leader, the primary position responsibility is to aid in the development and adoption of the corporate intranet-based communication, collaboration, and project functionality

Specific Deliverables associated with this position include:

Elicit requirements from Leadership across the Hillsboro campus. Develop engaging and interactive Sharepoint sites based on requirements, using corporate standards where necessary. Leadership includes the Site Leadership Team, local activity committees and employee resource groups, and department headsDevelop the tooling using available corporate assets, including Sharepoint, PowerBI, Office365 applications and moreCreative solutions that increase employee engagement with the intranet assets, and easily updated with new content after the internship concludes.

The Requirements

This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys developing web based tooling for the use of others. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

Current or upcoming enrollment in a 4 year undergraduate program or advanced degree.Pursuing a degree in computer science or other applicable discipline.Experience working with multiple software and programming systems preferred.Proficiency with software applications such as Sharepoint, Office365, or similar.Must possess the ability to be resourceful and work, with direction, in an ambiguous environment.Ability to work effectively with a range of colleaguesAbility to work over 20 hours per week during normal business hoursBe of age 18 or older.Be authorized to work in the U.S.
