Job Description:
Motivated and detailed-oriented individual to join the Automotive Autonomous Driving research project as a Technical Driver. In this position, the individual will act as driver and vehicle support for engineering in performing following tasks: Driver for autonomous test vehicles (professional driver experience recommended) Fleet vehicle management and maintenance Vehicle safety and operational checks Vehicle equipment installation and troubleshooting Documenting procedures and standardization processes Some travel off hour and weekend work may be required. Needs to be flexible May also work on lab build-out and general work request around the fleet and lab. Supporting Tests, Data collections, Demos and Trials

Minimum Qualifications:
Professional Driving Experience (transport, safety testing, commercial, rf drive test) Experience in Excel, Microsoft Word, and/or other MS communication tools. Clean driving record Experience working around cars (body) mechanically and or electrically Applicants must be able to sit for long periods of time including driving and processing wait times Lift 50lbs High School Graduate
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience driving autonomous test vehicles Experience in Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Word, and/or other MS communication tools. Experience in technical drive testing Ability to understand drawings and specifications Ability to communicate clearly and accurately Organized and efficient Mechanic Certification preferred Experience in Operating Systems (linux, windows) and computer equipment is a plus
