Details: Our client, a national financial leader, is looking for an Information Security Engineer with Microsoft Identity technologies experience. In this role, you will develop documents, and enforce the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of Active Directory (AD), and related systems.
 
MUST HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • IT experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory (AD), PowerShell and Group Policies
  • Experience implementing Identity and security on AWS with VPC, IAM and Security Groups
  • Understanding of how to identify and instill industry best practices
  • Experience with engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business critical systems
  • Technical expertise including hands-on solution development and implementation experience
  • Experience administering Amazon Web Services (AWS) including rights management with delegation of fine grain permissions.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Identity Technologies Active Directory
  • Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPO's
  • Expert knowledge of AD, PKI in Windows Server 2016
  • Expert knowledge of DNS in a Windows 2016 landscape
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and its interaction with AD
  • Strong understanding of PowerShell
  • Strong experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts, application infrastructure and standards and networking fundamentals
  • Experience establishing new standards for quality, performance or productivity
  • Experience developing documents, and enforcing the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of Active Directory, and related systems
  • Strong troubleshooting technical skills
  • Ability to perform an On-Call rotation to maintain Incident SLA's as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop documents, and enforce the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of Active Directory, and related systems.
  • Implement Identity and security requirements on AWS.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.
  • Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Identity Management environment.
  • Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
  • Serves as the first line of escalation support for domain technology issues.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
  • Improve existing processes through automating solutions of recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
  • Manage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations.
