Details: Our client, a top national retailer, is looking for a Software Engineer. In this role, you will code, test, and support deployments and automation. The ideal candidate will have TDD and Groovy experience.

  • Experience building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Knowledge of and working experience with open source software (e.g. Apache, Tomcat, Memcache, etc.)
  • Experience working with Linux

  • NoSQL experience
  • Experience with RabbitMq, IBM MQ, Docker
  • Experience with NoSQL data stores (Riak, Cassandra, etc.)
  • Experience with scripting, automation and troubleshooting of processes and systems
  • Experience scripting in the shell with at least one of the following: Groovy, Ruby, Perl or Python
  • Experience with networks, security, firewalls, load balancers, DNS and other infrastructure components
