Manufacturing Assembler

Location: Bothell, Washington
Duties:
  • Position requires regular sitting, handling, walking and standing.
  • Position requires eye-hand coordination and specific vision abilities required including close vision and color vision.
  • Ability to select and use common hand tools such as torque drivers, soldering irons, screwdrivers, crimp tools and wire cutters.
  • Ability to grasp, hold and manipulate small objects repeatedly and for long duration.
  • Assemble, align and test complex electro-mechanical & electronic subassemblies according to product diagrams, schematics or samples.
  • Effectively communicate to Supervisor, Engineering and QA.
  • Assist in other operational areas as needed including Assembly, Inventory Control, Packaging, or other duties as assigned.
  • Candidate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions:
  • (a) Can get along with co-workers, peers and upper management without exhibiting behavioral extremes.
  • (b) Respond appropriately to coaching from trainers, QA, and supervisors.
  • (c) Must be energetic and have a positive attitude.
  • (d) Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language.

Skills/Experience:
  • Experience preferred but not required, will train the right candidate
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to work unsupervised for lengthy periods of time
  • Detail oriented Ability to interpret assembly instructions and test procedures
  • Operating common software to use workplace systems.

Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
