Ability to work on computer for 8 hour shift (primary function creating and editing documents)

Max Supplier Rate: $60/hour
PPL willing to pay 1.5 Overtime, but will be limited (if any).
Duration: 3 months + (year-end, might extend to March 2019). Contract only at this point.
Work hours: Mon-Fri 7:30AM - 4:00 PM
Interview process: 1) Prefers on-site interview, unless candidate is unable within first few days, will consider phone screen.
Work location: PPL Walbert Office: 1639 Church Rd. Allentown, PA 18104
Some local travel to other PPL sites might be required. Mileage will be expensable/reimbursable.

Skills / Experience:
Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Word experience/training
With information given and what Tech Writer obtained, be able to create simple field instructions using existing procedural document formats
Once given assignments be self-directed and motivated to complete them timely
Which includes working with outside groups to obtain information
Being able to interpret the information into a procedural document
Good communication skills – verbally and written – between individuals and departments
Job Description:
Perform technical writing in support of Work Methods/Procedures group and Environmental Compliance at PPL’s Technical Development and Improvement center (TDI). A Technical writer will update/create procedures, spill manuals, Field Instructions (DDI’s), and other similar technical documents or as otherwise directed by following PPL’s Procedural Governance Program.
