Multimedia A/V Coordinator

Location: 100% onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
Duration: 6-12 months temp to perm for high performers.

Responsible for supporting and maintaining in-house audio-visual equipment and non-print media assets. This includes operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading various electronic products while ensuring their optimal performance. This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required.

  • Experience with Skype for Business and Microsoft Products.
  • Ability to manage project tasks, vendors, for on time completion.

  • Set up, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as City Council Meetings, Meeting Rooms, presentations
  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of AV hardware problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions
  • Diagnose and correct multi-media system issues
  • Monitor sound feeds to ensure quality
  • Ensure equipment is installed according to designated layout
  • Test and resolve equipment issues
  • Maintain high level of customer service and high standard of technical execution for a variety of events under time and budget constraints
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future AV equipment and corporate technology needs.
