Key Responsibilities: 
  • Support TMO 4I Values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement while Making Connections, Creating Value, and Being Determined
  • Maintain physical and/or electronic inventory of materials and time usage in MRP system
  • Maintain labs, supplies and equipment (including calibration and repair), following established procedure, ISO and/or applicable standards
  • Plan and execute the manufacturing batches following standard procedures
  • Assist in manufacturing processes as required (including preparation of chromatographic supports and reagents)
  • Provide training to less-experienced associates
  • Suggest improvements to documentation, safety practices and procedures
  • On occasion, the individual will provide technical expertise to management and interdepartmental teams
  • Remain technically competent by keeping current with developments within the industry
  • The individual will need to carry out any other duties apparent or assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or equivalent experience in Manufacturing industry
  • The individual having BS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry are preferred to have one plus year of organic chemical synthesis and purification experience.
  • The individual should possess basic laboratory skills pertinent to the production area
  • Basic mathematical skills (including knowledge in use of the metric system, conversions, and calculations)
  • Ability to read, follow, and write work instructions
  • Ability in the use of electronic systems and MS office (word, excel) knowledge
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, manipulate, or feel objects, tools, and controls
  • The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl and lift or move up to 100 pounds with or without assistance
  • Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distant vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • The individual must understand and comply with RCRA Standards by successfully completing initial training for Hazardous Waste Handling within 90 days of date of hire, comply with standards, and complete training/refresher courses at least annually
  • The individual will regularly be handling chemicals, solvents, and potentially hazardous/bio-hazardous substances
