SAP Functional Developer

DESCRIPTION
 
Looking for a functional developer to assist in the SuccessFactors projects and to support human resource related business processes, such as Employee Central, Employee central SAP ERP integration, SAP Organizational Management, SAP Personnel Administration and provide the technology to support these processes.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Understanding HRIS business needs and leading thoughtful design discussions around meeting those business needs in a standard manner fully leveraging SAP product capabilities.
  • Developing and maintaining architectural and design direction and leading teams to develop creative business solutions within it.
  • Demonstrating thought leadership, mentorship, and forum leadership in the areas of responsibility.
  • Work with functional developers and Demand business analysts and business personnel to understand various human resource related business processes, such as Employee Central, Employee central SAP ERP integration, SAP Organizational Management, SAP Personnel
  • Developing, based on requirements submitted by the business, detailed functional and technical specifications for changes to SAP systems.
  • Performing unit testing of changes (configuration, custom development, etc) in development and staging environments, including regression testing of functionality that may be impacted by change.
  • Coordinating long chain testing where appropriate of changes (configuration, custom development, etc) in development and staging environments.
  • Providing prototypes and implementation of new functionality based on client needs.
  • Providing support for other activities that impact the HR system, such as configuration changes to support changing business conditions, SAP ECC upgrades, application of hot packs, project work, etc.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have experience and understanding in the following areas:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field is a plus
  • Minimum 8 years of responsibility working with large SAP ERP global OM / PA.
  • Minimum 1 cycle Employee central SAP ERP integration.
  • Solid knowledge in SAP ECC 5.0 or SAP ECC 6.0.
  • Experience supporting different European countries.
  • Experience in configuration, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing enhancements and break fix solutions to SAP OM, PA, Employee Central, Employee Central replication tools / monitor reports.
