POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will support a broad range of human resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, HR administration, HR support, record-keeping, and data entry. The Human Resources Administrator will also be responsible for office management tasks and will help foster a positive work environment.
• Support HR Manager with administrative functions and meetings and manage employee flow within the HR department.
• Provide recruiting support for hourly and salary positions including scheduling interviews, onboarding, New Hire Orientation coordination, and collaboration and follow up on background checks and drug test administration.
• Collaborate in the development of training programs with HR Manager/Generalist and track and administer training reports in the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Create and maintain Human Resources databases and employment files.
• Assist the HR Manager/Generalist with administering Family Medical Leave documentation and employee benefits administration, including employee benefits Open Enrollment.
• Develop, plan, and maintain employee social events and functions, including overseeing the Entertainment Committee.
• Coordinate and administer Trip Reduction Program.
• Collaborate in the development of processes for continuous improvement.
• Other HR duties as assigned.
 
• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred or HR Certification and professional HR training.
• Experience as a Human Resources Representative, HR Coordinator, HR Administrator required.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and calendaring experience required.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS systems required; experience with Taleo ATS and SAP helpful.
• Working knowledge of employment laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.) desired.
• Knowledge and experience with HR functions and best practices in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience administering employee benefits programs desired.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Team player with ability to effectively deal with a wide variety of people.
• Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
